Dayo Olopade is currently a member of Facebook’s Media Partnerships team; she works closely with news publishers to optimize the Facebook platform. She is also the author of The Bright Continent: Breaking Rules and Making Change in Modern Africa. She is an evangelist for access to knowledge in the global south, and frequently lectures on technology, innovation and emerging market strategy for private companies, nonprofits and universities. She is also a producer of a documentary film adaptation of The Bright Continent. Dayo has been awarded fellowships with the New America Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the UN Foundation, and the German Marshall Fund; she has completed a JD/MBA and was a Media Scholar at Yale University.
