ALN Connect Launches in Accra

Accra’s African Regent Hotel was the scene of a lively gathering of the African Leadership Network community on Friday, June 26.

The first in our ALN Connect event series brought together Accra’s leading young professionals across various sectors. Ayesha Bedwei (ALN Class of 2014), Partner at PwC Ghana, welcomed guests and explained ALN’s history, mission, and various initiatives to prospective members and others in attendance. Jonathan Tawiah (also ALN Class of 2014) detailed his experience with ALN, most notably his win at last year’s Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship during ALN’s Annual Gathering in Rwanda. Attendees wrote to ALN after the event: “Thank you for having us at the cocktail last night. It was a splendid event,” and “I look forward to being a part of the next Gathering.”

ALN Connect aims to build relationships within the ALN community in cities across the continent. Future 2015 ALN Connect events will be held in Luanda,  and Juba. African Leadership Network would like to thank Ayesha and Jonathan for their organizing efforts.
